Total Charge = Base Fee (per package) + Weight Fee (per kg) + Pick Fees (per item)
There are two size categories, each with a flat shipment fee plus a weight-based charge per kilo. That’s the shipping part – and basic packaging materials (boxes, rigid envelopes, etc.) are already included in this fee.
For assembly, we charge a small pick fee for each item after the first we place in the package. By coordinating multiple campaigns into a Shipathon, we can offer bulk rates that would normally require a minimum volume.

What about VAT and other taxes?
We’re able to charge backers individually for VAT or shipping if needed, but this process adds extra handling time and cost.
To keep things simple and affordable, it’s best for creators to manage VAT and shipping themselves, either through a pledge manager that has that capability or by using a carrier that supports DDP shipping.
